Case Study : Upgrade existing electric hot water system to energy efficient gas hot water heater

Late Sunday afternoon we received an emergency phone call from a resident in Bilgola Plateau (on Sydney’s Northern Beaches) as their internal electric hot water system had burst.  We attended straight away.  Once the current system had been disconnected and removed, we assessed the clients’ hot water needs and suggested that an external gas hot water system would be the best replacement solution.  We provided a temporary electric system to re-instate the hot water immediately.  We returned the next morning to re-configure the pipe work, run the new gas lines, and install the brand new gas water system.

The client was thrilled with the service as they had no hot water down time and a better hot water set-up for their needs.  The client’s father, who was a retired plumber, sang praise for our professional, neat and tidy work.

It’s good to remember that when your hot water system needs replacing, you do not always have to replace like for like.  This is often a good time to assess your current set up and needs, and see if a better solution is available.
